Titanium Curved Barbell - Gold

Many of our pieces are Gold or Rose Gold plated. Due to the delicate nature of gold plating, these items require extra care to prevent the plating from fading over time. While Titanium itself is notably tough and resilient, it can still pick up scratches over time like all metals - this is perfectly normal and part of the natural wear process. Due to its hardness, Titanium may scratch softer metals, so be mindful when storing your pieces together. Should your Titanium jewellery need cleaning, simply use a soft cloth. If it gets wet, ensure it's dried thoroughly afterwards.

Exposure to air naturally tarnishes plating over time. When not being worn, store your plated jewellery in an airtight bag or container, out of direct sunlight. Plated jewellery needs to be kept dry. Avoid contact with water, hand sanitizer, lotions, perfumes and soaps. These chemicals can strip the plating from the surface of the jewellery.

Last but not least, your own body chemistry can be harsh on plated jewellery. Everyone’s chemistry is different, some people have a lower PH level than others. Depending on the individual, it’s not uncommon for chemicals perspired through the pores of the skin to cause plated jewellery to tarnish and discolour.

You have 30 days to return any unwanted items from the day you receive them, provided they're in their original, unused condition and you the consumer have taken reasonable care of the goods whilst in your possession. In the interest of hygiene, we cannot accept any returns on any pierced jewellery.
